Arizona Cardinals tight end Zach Ertz is out for the season with a knee injury, according to reports from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

The injury was suffered during the 27-17 victory over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday after making a catch. He was able to walk off the field on his own, however was spotted after the game with a brace on his knee.
So far this season with the Cardinals he has averaged 40.6 yards per game, with four touchdowns on the year.
Arizona will turn to rookie Trey McBride in his absence, drafted by Arizona in the second round with the 55th overall pick.
The Cardinals acquired Ertz, a 10-year veteran, in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles last season for Tay Gowan and a 2022 fifth-round pick.
