The Los Angeles Angels are continuing their busy off-season by reportedly coming to terms with free-agent reliever Carlos Estevez.
Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic was first to report the agreement. MLB Network’s Jon Heyman reports the contract is worth $14 million over two seasons.

Estevez, who turns 30 later this month, has spent all six of his MLB seasons with the Colorado Rockies. In 2022 he had a career-low 3.47 ERA with 54 strikeouts in 62 relief appearances. The right-hander throws an upper-90s fastball along with a hard slider and change-up.
The agreement is the latest move made by the Angels, who are hoping to return to the playoffs for the first time since 2014. Earlier this winter they brought in free-agent starter Tyler Anderson and made trades for slugger Hunter Renfroe and infielder Gio Urshela.
