    Semifinal matchups set at the 2022 FIFA World Cup

    The FIFA World Cup semifinals were officially set in stone when the final whistle blew after France defeated England in a heated quarterfinals matchup.

    The remaining playing field features the reigning champs in France, their opponent from the 2018 finals Croatia, the first African team to reach the semifinals in Morocco, and Argentina, who are hoping to cement their star player’s legacy.

    Here’s how the schedule for the semifinal games will play out:

    Tuesday, Dec. 13

    Argentina vs. Croatia, 2 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. PT — Lusail Iconic Stadium, Lusail, Qatar

    Wednesday, Dec. 14

    France vs. Morocco, 2 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. PT — Al Bayt Stadium, Al Khor, Qatar

    The third-place game is set to take place on Dec. 17 with the Final being played the next day, Sunday, Dec. 18, at 10 a.m. ET / 7 a.m. PT.
