Mitch Marner was at it again on Tuesday night, extending his point streak to an incredible 23 games with an assist in the first period vs. the Anaheim Ducks.

Marner made a tremendous play in the offensive zone, driving to the net and setting up captain John Tavares for one of the easier goals he’s had in his career.
The assist gives Marner 31 points (11 goals, 20 assists) during his 23-game streak.
With the apple, Marner moves even closer to historic territory. Marner has the third-longest streak amongst active players and is only two games back of Sidney Crosby (25 games), and three games back of Patrick Kane (26 games).
Marner was added to an elite list on Tuesday night, joining the likes of Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, Guy Lafleur and other NHL legends as the only players in NHL history to reach the 23-game mark.
