In return, the Rams will recieve a 2023 third-round pick (77th overall) and TE Hunter Long. The trade will be processed at the beginning of the league year on Wednesday according to Adam Schefter.

Ramsey, 28, is a six-time Pro Bowl selection and has made the first-team All-Pro three times.

Drafted fifth overall in 2016 out of Florida State by the Jacksonville Jaguars, Ramsey was traded to the Rams midway through the 2019 season.

He signed a five-year, $105 million extension with the Rams in September 2020 that made him the highest-paid defensive back in NFL history at the time.

Ramsey had four total tackles and one pass defenced in Super Bowl LVI the following season as the Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 for the championship.

The Rams were unable to defend the title as they finished last season with a 5-12 record and missed the playoffs.

Ramsey had a career high 88 combined tackles (64 solo) and two sacks during the 2022 campaign.
