Another playoff game, another spectacular performance by Connor Bedard.
The Regina Pats star had three goals and two assists as his underdog team took a 2-0 lead in a first-round WHL playoff series with a 6-5 overtime win over the host Saskatoon Blades on Sunday.
The only Regina goal Bedard did not have a point on was the overtime winner — scored by Zack Stringer 2:58 into the extra period in front of 10,598 fans.
After putting up nine hat tricks during the regular season, Bedard did it again on Sunday with the tying goal at 11:10 of the third period.
