The NBA has suspended former Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges 30 games as a result of a domestic violence incident involving the mother of his children, the league announced Friday.

Bridges was arrested and charged with multiple offences after the incident last June in Los Angeles. Bridges entered a plea of no contest to a felony domestic violence charge and the remaining counts against him were dismissed.

Bridges did not sign a contract for the 2022-23 season after the arrest, so the league has deemed 20 games of his suspension to have already been served.

If he does sign a contract for 2023-24, he will be required to miss the first 10 games.

Bridges entered the league with Charlotte in 2018.
