According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the league reviewed the play, where the Memphis Grizzlies‘ Brooks was assessed a flagrant 2 foul for contact on the Los Angeles Lakers‘ James, and determined no further discipline was merited.
Brooks, from Mississauga, Ont., was ejected 17 seconds into the second half after the Memphis agitator struck James in the groin while guarding him near midcourt.
The Lakers won the game 111-101 and lead the series 2-1, with Game 4 slated for Monday.
