Luca Brecel handed Ronnie O’Sullivan a shock defeat in their quarter-final at the World Snooker Championship in Sheffield.
O’Sullivan had held off Brecel to go into the concluding session with a 10-6 lead.
But that was as good as it got for O’Sullivan. He did not win a frame on Wednesday as Brecel overtook him to win 13-10 and advance to the semi-finals.
