It sure looked like Aaron Judge might have been trolling the Toronto Blue Jays after his base hit on Wednesday.
The New York Yankees slugger covered his eyes with his hand after his single off Blue Jays starter Chris Bassitt in the third game of the series at Rogers Centre.
“Judge liked getting that hit. He covered his eyes, too. Hmmm,” Yankees play-by-play man Michael Kay said after the YES Network showed the replay.

Just two nights earlier, of course, Blue Jays manager John Schneider wondered aloud why Judge was shifting his eyes during an at-bat to gaze sideways. Later in that at-bat, he hit a home run.
The next day, Schneider said the Blue Jays had talked to Major League Baseball about having the base coaches stay in the coaches’ boxes — presumably to avoid potential sign stealing.
Judge denied any accusations of wrongdoing, saying he was making the motion to try to get his teammates to quiet down following the ejection of manager Aaron Boone.
The controversy hasn’t affected Judge, who hit his third home run of the series on Tuesday to break a tie game in the eighth inning, with the Yankees going on to win 6-3.
