Kyle Dubas is moving quickly in his new job. On the same day he was appointed president of hockey operations with the Pittsburgh Penguins, the former Toronto Maple Leafs GM fired three members of the club’s front office.

Alec Schall, the director of hockey strategy, Teena Murray, the senior vp of sports science and peformance, and Kerry Huffman, the director of pro scouting, were all let go on Thursday, according to a report by Daily Faceoff’s Frank Seravalli.
All three were hired by former president Ron Hextall, who was fired by the Penguins on April 14. Schall had been in the job for almost two years, while Murray had held her position for a year. Huffman had only been in his role since October.
