Middleton has played 10 of his 11 seasons with the Bucks, winning an NBA title in 2021. He is a three-time all-star who also represented the United States at the Tokyo Olympics.
The soon-to-be 32-year-old has averaged 17 points on 45 per cent shooting for his career, but he was limited to just 33 games last season due to injuries.
After the Bucks were eliminated from the playoffs by the Heat, it was reported that Middleton had surgery on his right knee but he is expected to be recovered by next season.
