Tarasenko had 50 points (18 goals and 32 assists) split between the St. Louis Blues and the New York Rangers this past season. He also added three goals and one assist in seven playoff games for New York.
The 31-year-old from Yaroslav, Russia, became an unrestricted free agent Saturday. His previous contract was an eight-year deal worth $60 million.
Tarasenko has topped the 30-goal plateau six times in his career and has been named to the second All-Star team twice.
He won the Stanley Cup with the Blues in 2019 and recorded 17 points (11 goals and six assists) in 26 playoff games.
