ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the deal includes a new four-year, $53 million deal for Williams as part of a sign-and-trade agreement.

The Celtics will reportedly receive three second-round picks (2024, 2025 and 2028) as part of the deal, while the Spurs will get Mavericks forward Reggie Bullock and an unprotected Dallas pick swap in 2030.
After making a big-time splash by adding big man Kristaps Porzingis this off-season, moving on from Williams will give the Celtics some much-need cap relief.
Williams, 24, has been a solid role player for the Celtics in his four years with the team. In 79 games for the Celtics last season, the Tennesse product averaged 8.1 points and 4.6 rebounds per game — both career highs.
