Toronto Blue Jays right-hander Adam Cimber has been transferred to the 60-day injured list with a right shoulder impingement, the team announced Wednesday.

The 32-year-old has been sidelined for a month, last playing against the Texas Rangers on June 18. He was placed on the 15-day IL shortly after with a right shoulder impingement.
Cimber has struggled with injuries and in turn, struggled on the mound this season. In 20.2 innings pitched, Cimber posted a 7.40 ERA and 12 strikeouts.
In other moves, the Blue Jays optioned outfielder Nathan Lukes to triple-A Buffalo and selected outfielder Jordan Luplow’s contract to the 40-man roster. Luplow will be available off the bench against the San Diego Padres.
