Ever since Silambarasan went through a major image changeover recently, he has been experimenting with his look. In the first photo shoot after his physical transformation, he was seen with a long beard and short hair. He then changed his look for Gautam Vasudev Menon’s gangster film Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu and shaved off his beard. Later for the Pathu Thala movie, the actor put on some weight and was seen with a dense beard once again. Now, on top of the beard, Silambarasan has grown long hair.
Simbu’s new look became public from the pictures taken in Malaysia. The Tamil star participated in music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja’s concert, High On U1, which was held in the country.
In the pictures, Simbu is seen wearing a full-sleeve t-shirt. The blue cap and black wayfarer complemented his uber-cool look.
Here are the pictures:
Many videos from the concert also went viral on social media. In the clips, Simbu is seen singing and dancing to the iconic collaborations between him and Yuvan like ‘Loosu Ponne’ and ‘Yammaadi Aathadi.’

Fans wonder if it’s the look for his upcoming film with director Desingh Periyasamy, which is tentatively called STR48. The film is produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International. Corona Kumar is another upcoming film in STR’s line-up. Simbu was last seen in Pathu Thala, which received a decent response from the audience. However, it didn’t meet the huge expectations of the fans like his previous films Maanaadu and Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu.
