The San Jose Sharks announced Tuesday that forward Luke Kunin underwent successful surgery to repair a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season.
Kunin, who is expected to require six-to-eight months to recover, sustained the injury last Tuesday during the first period of the Sharks’ 3-2 win over the Arizona Coyotes.

The Sharks also recalled forward C.J. Suess from the San Jose Barracuda of the American Hockey League.
San Jose is seventh in the Pacific Division with a 10-17-6 record and plays host to the Calgary Flames on Tuesday night.
