Phoenix Suns fans could be getting an extra Christmas gift, as ESPN‘s Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that star guard Devin Booker is expected to return to the lineup when the Suns square off against the Denver Nuggets on Sunday.

Booker has missed the past three games as he is currently dealing with a groin injury. The Kentucky product last played on Dec. 17 vs. the New Orleans Pelicans when he dropped a season-high 58 points in a 118-114 win.
Without Booker in the lineup for the past three contests, the Suns went 1-2.
Currently in his eighth season, the three-time NBA all-star is averaging a career-high 28 points per game.
The Suns and Nuggets will cap off a five-game Christmas Day slate at 10:30 p.m. ET on Sportsnet and Sportsnet ONE.
