O.G. Anunoby, Gary Trent Jr. and Precious Achiuwa are questionable for the Toronto Raptors in their game Tuesday night in Charlotte against the Hornets.
Anunoby is listed as having a left ankle sprain, while Trent has lower-back spasms. Achiuwa is dealing with a non-COVID illness. The team announced the status updates on Tuesday.
Tuesday’s game will be a rematch of Toronto’s 128-108 victory Sunday afternoon, also in Charlotte. The Raptors are aiming for a four-game season series sweep after winning twice across three days in January in Toronto.
The Raptors (39-39) have secured a spot in the play-in portion of the NBA postseason. Gaining the No. 8 seed would increase the odds of advancing.
“For the last couple of weeks, it has been really simple for us — we’re in a win-every-game mode,” Raptors guard Fred VanVleet told reporters. “There’s not much to think about. You have to go out and perform and play your best and try to take care of business.”
